Locarno, Ticino, Switzerland
Locarno is located on the northern shore of Lake Maggiore in the canton of Ticino, it´s close to Ascona at the foot of the Alps. We went there from Gerra Gambarogno by train just for an ice cream.. and shopping... and... well that was it, nothing more...
Some have said that in Locarno they have 2300 hours of sunshine per year. Is that much ? I don´t know, but I heard that in holiday seasons these streets are full of tourists.
